Commodore 16

Commodore aiming at the low end again and misjudging it: the 264 series had better BASIC and a 121-colour palette but no sprites and no SID, so it could not run C64 software or match it on games. The C16 is the cut-down version with 16K in a dark case. It sold poorly in Britain and well in eastern Europe, where it became a first machine for a generation.
