The console that beat everybody on arcade fidelity: Donkey Kong in the box, a TMS9918 doing proper sprites, and an adapter that played Atari 2600 cartridges — which Atari sued over and lost. It was winning when the 1983 crash killed the entire market. The best of the pre-Nintendo consoles.
