The Advance rebuilt as a clamshell: smaller in a pocket, rechargeable, and finally with its own light. The original AGS-001 front-lit screen made the machine usable at night; the later AGS-101 backlit screen is the one people seek out. The missing headphone socket means a small adapter is part of the kit.
