The desktop Micro Channel machine from the 1987 launch, and the one that made IBM's case for the new bus: a 286 at 10MHz with everything integrated and tool-free access inside — the PS/2 chassis design is genuinely excellent and opens without a screwdriver. Needs its reference diskette to configure, which is the standard MCA obstacle.
