Nintendo's stereoscopic headset: two scanning red LED arrays giving genuine 3D in 1995, on a stand you had to lean into. It sold badly, caused headaches, and was withdrawn within a year — the last product Gunpei Yokoi led at Nintendo. Fascinating, uncomfortable, and the ribbon cables in the displays fail with age.
