Commodore CDTV

Commodore Amiga · 1991

Commodore's attempt at the living room: an A500 in a black hi-fi case with a CD-ROM drive, a remote control and no keyboard, launched in 1991 as a multimedia player before there was any content to play. It failed completely. Interesting as an early CD-ROM machine and as the idea Philips and Apple were also getting wrong at the same moment.
