The II with Applesoft floating-point BASIC in ROM instead of Woz's integer version, and autostart, which meant the machine was usable without a manual. This is the Apple II that sold in volume through the early eighties and the one most surviving software expects. Mechanically and electrically it is a II, so it has the same slots and the same repairability.
