Commodore 128D

Commodore 8-bit · 1986

The C128 in a metal desktop case with the 1571 drive built in and a detachable keyboard — the machine as a professional workstation rather than a home computer. Handsome, heavy, and much the nicest way to use CP/M or 80-column mode. The European metal-cased version is the one to have; it also has a fan, which the later plastic one does not.
