Commodore building somebody else's architecture: a straightforward XT clone sold through the dealer network that was shifting C64s, mostly into European small businesses. Unremarkable as a PC and interesting as a company decision — the firm that made its own chips buying in Intel's. Common in Germany, scarce elsewhere.
