Toshiba HX-10

MSX · 1983

One of the first MSX machines in Europe, and a good illustration of what the standard was for: Microsoft and ASCII specified the hardware so that any maker's cartridge ran on any maker's machine — the thing the Japanese market had been missing. Toshiba's launch model, well built, with a full-travel keyboard.
