Nintendo's cartridge console in the age of CD-ROM: a fast MIPS CPU, the Reality Co-Processor, four controller ports and an analogue stick in the box. The cartridges made loading instant and piracy hard, but kept games expensive and storage tight. The Expansion Pak is the usual collector's extra, and early analogue sticks wear loose.
