IBM PS/2 Model 30 (8530)

The cheap end of the PS/2 launch, and the one that gave the game away: the Model 30 kept ordinary ISA slots while its expensive siblings carried Micro Channel. That makes it the practical PS/2 to own — period cards just work — and a neat illustration of IBM hedging its own bet. It also introduced the PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports that outlived everything else about the range, and the moulded case that defined IBM's look for years.
