NEC's rushed answer to the Mega Drive: extra video hardware and memory bolted onto the PC Engine, released in 1989 with five exclusive games and abandoned. One of the shortest-lived consoles ever sold. Expensive, scarce, and mostly of interest as a case study in panicking mid-generation.
