The proper version of Atari's first computers: a real keyboard, two cartridge slots, user-accessible RAM cards and a cast aluminium RF shield inside that makes it feel like industrial equipment. The custom chips were years ahead — Atari's arcade division designed them — and the machine is beautifully made. The best of the 8-bit Ataris to own, and the one to look for.
