The ColecoVision turned into a full computer — and one of the great disasters of the era. It shipped late, the power supply lived in the printer so the machine would not run without it, and the tape drives could erase their own media with their own magnetic field. Coleco left the computer business. Fascinating, and complete working examples are uncommon.
