The original Game Boy made properly pocketable: smaller, lighter, running from two AAA cells and using a sharper grey LCD instead of the green DMG screen. It plays the same monochrome cartridges and changes very little electrically, but it is far nicer to carry. Early units missed the power LED; Nintendo quietly put it back.
