BASIC 4.0 and a 12-inch screen: the PET as most people who used one for work remember it. The new ROMs added proper disc commands, which mattered once Commodore's own drives were widespread. The most common of the big PETs and the one to start with — plentiful enough to be affordable and complete enough to be useful.
